Eterra’s Vortex Stump Grinder was designed and manufactured to improve stump grinding efficiency and capacity with a beefy radial piston motor and 3/4″ non-symmetrical wheel. Available in 27″ or 31″ models. This attachment is ideal for operators looking to quickly remove hard or softwood tree stumps with a machine that doesn’t leave anything on the field. With this overbuilt, reliable, high-powered grinder system, you’ll be turning stumps to dust in no time.

GET TO KNOW THE VORTEX

The Vortex Stump Grinder features a high torque output radial piston motor which is highly efficient, converting close to 95% of the hydraulic energy into horsepower. The direct drive system is an oil bath enclosed hub system, meaning there are no external couplers and nothing to grease. The asymmetrical high strength alloy steel wheel provides great visibility and features replaceable teeth, rock guards, and abrasion resistant wear plates.

The Vortex Stump Grinder for Skid Steers utilizes an extremely efficient hydraulic radial piston motor that converts your machine’s hydraulic flow directly into grinding power. Capable of grinding hard and soft woods, the asymmetrical cutting wheel not only provides great visibility, but also maximizes the life of the cutter teeth. 

DESIGNED FOR POWER

Constructed of A572 Grade 50 high strength steel. A Robust housing design is meant to handle the abuse required to grind stumps 20″+ below ground. A rubber chip guard absorbs debris impact and minimize the debris created from grinding the stump.
